So this is a flower head off my lilac bush..... almost but not quite ready to fill my nostrils with that wonderfull aroma. I took this shot yesterday afternoon after I got home from work. Shot under mostly sunny skies, the somewhat shallow DOF is deliberate. The only post processing I did was to do some digital noise removal, other than that it's straight outta the Nikon P7700.

i have decided to try my hand at street/building photography. i'll shoot mostly in B/W because it adds to the "grittyness". i've always liked some of the photo's i've seen of old, abandoned buildings and scenes. so here's my first try at it.

Im not good photographer but I took this in the backyard and thought it was cool. The rainbows, not the picture. :embarrassed:
