The results only ended up that way because the study was done in London. There were a bunch of Americans there who couldn't figure out if you were supposed to walk on the right or left side and it mucked everything up

My local grocery store has a bad habit of putting up displays in the aisles that barely have room for two carts to pass. :rolleyes:you should walk on the same side that you would drive on. 50 million americans need to learn that in grocery stores.

FWIW, I always stay to the right on escalators and those "walking sidewalk" things at the airport. You don't mess with type "A"s.

Most escalators I see are 'one butt' types.
