Yeah, I understand how it's done. I've been thinking of joining Taxi for awhile now, but I've heard as many good things as bad.

i have no experience with Taxi. i say use the network you already have and direct people to your website/facebook/myspace.

i'm serious about playing your stuff. i'm happy to listen to it and if i hear something i like, i'll suggest it to the other guys.

I don't know what id do if I couldn't play shows.

The last 3 years have been the least gigging years of my life since college. It knid of sucks but at the same time playing once a month instead of 10-15 times means that I typically love every minute of every gig...

I can't wait to start gigging eventually. I'm considering joining one of Mark's group classes once I get a car, depending on my financial situation.

you should bring your guitar to school and jam in the lunchroom. wait, does your mom let you play in the kitchen? or will she give you detention?

A while ago I decided to change the Grover Rotomatic tuners on my Les Paul-SG back to Klusons. The Grovers was put on by the original owner in the early 70s. He had also drilled the pegholes since Grovers are slightly bigger, so to put on some old (and smaller) Klusons would probably make problem with the tuning stability. I didn´t like that idea, since I´m not a collector but play my guitars, so I purchased some new Kluson-looking Grovers with the same size as Rotomatics. But they looked very new and shiny, so I soaked them in vinegar for some days before I put them on. Soft aging.
