Dig it! HNGD

Initial impressions
F&F is really top notch. The only nits to pick off the bat are two rough spots on the top binding edge (one is right under my forearm so that's gonna need attention right away) that should be easily fixed with a little application of micromesh. Really beautiful looking guitar with a great shade of green, plenty of flake that compliments the rosewood and black headstock. Weight is lighter than I expected from it's somewhat chunky looks. Great resonance when strummed and good projection acoustically if you're at the top or back of the guitar. Low action and a soft satin finished neck. Nice polish on the frets.

Plugged in the bass contour knob seems a lot like a loudness knob on a stereo. The revtrons are interesting...they don't sound like filtertron or a Gibby mini-buckers. Kinda hard to describe, not raunchy, if anything they have a pretty good range with a slightly soft high end and a bump on the low-mids, giving the bass some definition but still kinda dark with the bass contour on the bass end of the sweep. Plays pretty smoothly and the neck initially seems a smidge thicker and rounder than my Warmoth standard thin.

The revtrons are kind of their own thing, they take distortion really well. The more, the better.

Yeah, I was playing through the SLO and Fireball on the HD500 earlier & it sounded really great. Good definition and "girth' with out any flabby artifacts.

Thanks for the HNGDs guys.

Yeah. Would.

 I was going to say the same thing. You all keep getting these Reverends....one of these days I'll get to try one.

Really nice guitar though. Two thumbs up for green :thu::thu:

If you come through the area, hit me up

We had a Reverend dealer in the area for a few months and I had talked to him about buying one, but before I got around to it, the building owner terminated his lease and he went out of business. :(

I want to get some good pictures of this guitar but I haven't actually been home in the daylight yet....
