I also need some new cymbals for my drumkit. I bought cheapo ones and after having been bashed severely for a year they look like theyve been hit with 400 sledgehamers. Those things are expensive though!

Cymbals are expensive but good ones are so worth the money compared to the cheapies you buy in kits that sound like you're banging a section of corrugated shed roof.

Not a whole lot going on my end just now either. Summer holidays end in less than 2 weeks which reminds me I really need to chase up the council to see what I'll be doing with Wednesday through Friday as far as paid employment goes

Anyhoo my sister, brother in law and their two kids are visiting so the house is very full. Add to that the heatwave and you get one very hot and bothered me. Still, all good fun.

Just over 1 week left of my Summer holidays :(

My girlfriend won a competition a while back so we're off to a fancy hotel for an overnight with free wine and champagne tonight (which is handy given I'm off the bevvy just now ) then through to Edinburgh tomorrow for some no doubt appalling free "comedy" at the Fringe.

Should be fun.
