French Fries or Tater Tots?

Tots are gross. Bleh. Fries. Hand cut. With bits of potato skin on. I did not vote formally as I cannot call them freedom fries.

That is a good point. I have had fries that were better than tater tots, but I think the average tot is better than the average fry.

I do my own fries. I double fry mine in a combo of lard & peanut oil. Seasoning depends wholly on what else is going on the plate. I am not above giving the same treatment to a bag of 'tots either. Especially if there are some in my freezer and I'm out of regular 'taters.
