Mojo Request Found a new house.

Those Facebookers among you probably already figured that out, but thanks to some crazy luck, an awesome realtor, and a desperate seller, we are right back in our old neighborhood just down the street from the nightmare house we bought in January 2016. Not quite as high on the hill, but still has a great view, is fairly secluded, and it's a beautiful house with a great yard. When all is said and done, it's pretty much a wash between selling and buying. We'll never recoup what that POS house cost us, but I don't care. Good riddance to that house of horrors.

Now comes the really fun part...

I'm getting the paperwork from my surgeon tomorrow to go on disability. First, the right thumb gets surgery, then the left, then it's right back under the knife for a left hip replacement. The right side isn't far behind either...

The left one has been absolutely killing me lately. 24/7 outrageous pain. The arthritis meds I take for my thumbs doesn't even make a dent. Everyone told me that horrific motorcycle vs truck thing from when I was a kid was going to haunt me in later life, but I never knew just how true that was. Gonna be at least a year of surgery/recovery/surgery/recovery...

I'm glad it's getting done, but not looking forward to the process.

Mojo. I hope you found a good doc for the hip replacement. My uncle got one years ago. He is a tennis pro, so he can't be down and out so he looked into a bunch of different options and he went to DC (from NC) to get it done because of the "new" technique the guy was using. His has lasted close to 10 years longer than most hip replacements. He is at least 67 (he is older than my dad and my dad is 66), teaches tennis lessons all day and gigs, in the summer 3 to 4 nights a week, so he is on it all the time. Definitely take the time to find the best doctor for the job on that one.
