For those of you who are even thinking about trying drugs

You need to watch this entire movie right now. I can't stress enough how much you need to see this.

Apologies for this TL: DR post, but I have some immediate thoughts. First, don’t call them “drugs.”

The real issue is addiction. Drugs, sex, relationships, food, exercise - these are all addictions, and there are tons more.

Humans have been using drugs since we have roamed this Earth. Today’s drugs are much less safe - they can kill you easily, as opposed to mushrooms and eating weed.

There is also a cultural stigma against “non-traditional” drugs, and conversely many mind and body-altering drugs are celebrated.

So, if you drink coffee or alcohol EVER, take allergy medicine or any other medicine - you are a drug user. If you can’t seem to stay single for long, or hook up often, you are addicted to relationships or sex.

We need to agree on the terms before we even start talking. Addiction is only solved by support.

By the way - I have not seen that movie I just hate when people start any dialog about “drugs” as if they’re all bad. Is it a good movie?

It's always good when someone sees through the levels of irony takes the thread seriously.

There's use, abuse, and addiction, and no one's ever going to "agree on terms." Too much cultural noise.

Awesome! What did you get? Did you find something that hit your ideal time/dosing window?

Returned to Edible Island while I had some unstructured fun time this weekend. They’re still too much for any kind of regular chill time. Friday night was pretty groovy. But I reupped too soon on Saturday and was elected mayor of Greenland for a while.

I’m kinda into the time dilation thing.

My sister really enjoyed the book. She read it in her early teens. It did not prevent her from using drugs.

Great screen name and cat picture.

edibles are the same for me - definitely fun, but generally too long lasting for the windows of opportunity I have for such things. The local place is so low on stock that they saving all flower for medical only, so this kid is still daring to keep off drugs for the time being. (I could buy some from a friend yadda yadda yadda, but I'm more interested in seeing what the dispensary experience is like than actually really being motivated to get weed)

Have you tried relistening to that track you did way back with Hump, the one with Corporal Tabs on guitar and Sow Feeder on keys? You should do that
