Oh man. A good friend lost their 13 year old cat the other day. She's heartbroken. Since we started taking in rescue cats I have come to dread the time when they start to leave us. I love every single one of them. I know I will be crushed every time one of them goes, but I'm thankful for having them here now, and for the joy they provide.

Oscar is under my desk right now, purring away. He is 14 and I feel really lucky to have him here.
