Went to GC and played a few guitars today. The D'Agelico EXL-1 was REALLY good.
I'm seeing them for $1299 online. I might take my Yamaha steel string that Truefire gave me and my Joe Pass and see if they do a swap.
Yeah, get that one. As in THAT ONE.
That's why I was thinking of bringing my pile of unused guitars down there tomorrow.

No. I don't sell good or useful instruments even if they don't get played that much. Plus it has some sentimental value for me too. Just the Epiphone and the Yamaha

Nah. I played it and a bunch of guitars and realized that I wouldn't be able to play louder with it (like in a big band) because being completely hollow it just wants to feed back like crazy. It sounds decent but between that and the fact that it's still not killing me in person on the second spin means it's not for me.
I might come home with a new deluxe though

Pretty much. Just nothing worth spending money on at GC. I even tried a bunch of $3k ES-335's and they didn't do much for me. AT some point I need a new guitar but it looks like I'm juts going to need to put the money together for something more high end. Nothing under $2k has been worth it so far.
