Limited Run $4,999

One of the guitars that kick-started rock and roll gains an elegant '60s cherry twist, with traditional 'bail' tailpiece, MHS P-90 pickups, and a vintage-certified look and playing feel.

Remove the pick guard and the last 9 in the price and I'd be all over that.

I'd bigsby-ize that in two heartbeats, replace the PU covers with black, replace the PG with a black one, and only pay about $2K for it. Otherwise, it rocks.

s'OK.

If someone gave it to me, great.
But I would never put out $5K for it.

As a matter of fact, if someone gave it to me, I would sell it and buy 2 or 3 really nice guitars that I REALLY want.

Not with that bridge.
With a trapeze and a regular bridge, yes, please.
If you give me the guitar, I can mod it, though. Could be a fun project.

Funny I just read in Deke Dickerson's latest book about him picking up an original 52 for about half that money. Admittedly it was not in pristine condition.
