Notice the strings top- wrap. On the original '52 LP, the strings wrap UNDER the bridge. You can palm mute this.

If I'm spending $5000 on a guitar, the bridge really needs to intonate perfectly.

If you'd leave those girly-man frets off of it, you could intonate as you go!

This just popped up in my facebook feed. It's not the much-maligned bridge. Come to think of it Bigsbys are also much-maligned in some circles.

I like the look a lot. Too expensive, but that is what Gibson does.
