100K......

Yep - my Honda CRV just turned over 100,000 miles yesterday. Pretty good considering it is a 2002. I bought it in 2010 with only 52,000 on it. The engine and transmission are both in great shape. Everything else is falling apart so I'm not sure my original plan of keeping it until it hits 200,000 will come to pass, but it's still not paid off and I do like it a lot so I'll put of with the little things breaking.

My 2002 suburban has about 116k on it and I'm expecting it to fall apart like the bluesmobile at the end of the blues brothers at any moment.

My pos kia has 170k on it and shows only minor signs of giving up the ghost.

My cousin has an '02 CRV that's got like 250k on it, you should be good for quite a while Dave!

my highest mileage car was a Honda product that I unloaded w/ well over 200K on the clock. I would have kept it longer if a certain stealership didn't destroy the motor when I had the timing belt changed.

Mrs. P's 2004 Dodge Stratus has over 235k on it and still going strong. The clutch has been replaced, and one of the wheel bearings. Other than that, I can't think of anything other than maintenance stuff. It's holding up really well too. Has a couple of dings on the hood from rocks getting kicked up, and those dings have a bit of rust in them where I never touched up the paint. The biggest problem is that the dash is falling apart. Every seam on it has started to separate and peel up. It's so bad, the VIN plate actually popped off of it. I'm sure that's illegal, but we keep the VIN plate in the cubby hole above the radio. I would try to find a better dash in a junk yard, but I don't want to get into that big of a job on a car that could possibly bite the bullet at any time.

97 Acura Integra GSR with 130K on it. I put a lot of miles on it in the 1st 3 years but since then my commute was cut down by an order of magnitude so lately it's been racking up the miles at a slow pace. No plans to replace it any time soon, I love driving that car

The last two cars I owned, a 1991 Olds Cutlass Calais quad-4, and a 2001 Dodge Stratus, both had 150k on them when I upgraded.

I'm hoping my 2007 Ford Focus will do a bit better than that.

My do-it-all (tow, stow, carry-all, people-mover, surfmobile) 2000 Ford Expedition turned 107,700 yesterday, and the "check engine light" came on for the very first time. Never a problem (replaced a few consumables and a suspension bushing). It's a pretty well provisioned vehicle, still looks pretty good (no dents, one or two insignificant scratches) so will find out what's wrong, repair and with luck drive it for another 150,000 miles.

Our 2000 Nissan Maxima is just over 105k and the check engine light has been on for well over 5 years now... Still runs great...

Right now my problem list...

Blown AC Condenser - $2500.00
New air bag sensor - $1000.00
New drivers side door lock - $200.00

Still a lot cheaper than a new car - and the AC I can live without...

And yeah - the check engine light has been on for about 15,000 miles.....

Blown AC Condenser - $2500.00 - It's frickin winter!
New air bag sensor - $1000.00 - don't hit anything
New drivers side door lock - $200.00 - don't leave any valuables in the car

problems solved

Yeah, I bypassed my ac condenser when it bit it. I've got an air bag light on (last time this happened, it was actually the crankshaft position sensor that was going bad. Simple fix, but I'm waiting until it warms up to replace it) and the trunk dummy light is always on.

My '05 rent-a-car special is at 165k or so. Check engine light pops on and off occasionally, but other than that no major issues. Fingers crossed, of course.

Dave, have you checked to see if your door locks were part of a prior recall that might not have been performed on your car?

My old '99 F-150 (almost 190K miles) has been gathering dust the last 6 weeks since the battery was dead on a cold morning. One tire is getting low. I need to get off my ass and get it running to sell it for some amp money.
Oh, the inspection sticker was due last May!
