HA! I have 3 plain Jane Gibson LP Studios and an LP copy. I have been selling guitars since I sold my house...just no room for them and I rarely use them. I am trying to sell my dining room table and chairs to have a spot for guitars... so I haven't completely lost my mind.

Also: The government is buying crypto assets in a big way. The people with power are trying to condemn it, get people to be afraid of it, or do whatever works to keep regular people from getting into it because they are hoarding it.

I seriously wish that I owed the gub'ment a $million ... because I would have a few million if I did.
 
Raul Paul (ex Goldman Sachs guy) says that he thinks that crypto is going 100 X from here to $200 Trillion market capitalization. He says that it is growing faster than anything we have ever seen and that it will change everything.

It sounds like that "this sounds like a cult" statement is going to be used a few more times.

MATIC and LINK are excellent. BTC and ETH are too but I would find it hard to buy while they are so high - as long term holds to forget about? No problem.

ADA just HAS to break out sometime ...maybe it will wait until next cycle and then turn into a $5 coin(?).

SHIBA INU... I bought 19,000,000 under 0.00004 and sold 9,500,000 to get my money out after it doubled (in 3 days) and now I just have 9,500,000 'free' SHIB.

Be careful in the cryptosphere!!

kidding aside this is pretty good news for a coin that most consider a joke.

It's just a great example of how 'even the joke coins' are gaining utility.

The crypto space is growing so rapidly. The present is really pretty wild and I am sure that many will lose a lot in this run up. When all of the institutions and the media are saying how "it's all going way higher" is about the time that it ends.

If you can, take enough profit to pay for your investment (or most of it) so you can let the rest ride.

profits lolololol. i wish. i am still like 90 bucks in the red but that is much better than a few weeks ago. i think that this time next year i hopefully might be in a position to take some profits but that is fine with me. my timing was horrible in terms of buying most of them way too high but i just buy and hold for the long play so hopefully down the road it wont matter as much. i was never expecting such a small amount of money to grow a ton overnight. so far for me BTC, ETH and LINK are the ones in green while ADA, DOGE, MATIC and Shibu are all still in the red.

edit: ADA just turned green by a tiny amount haha!!

ADA and MATIC will likely get to the green in time as they have a lot going on whereas DOGE and SHIB have some things to do...SHIB seems like they are working toward it but I don't know if DOGE is. There is so much going on right now that it is hard to be informed on much of it.

I don't have much in LINK but I am way down percentage wise in what I do have.

The tough thing is that even for BTC and ETH, when the cycle ends, they likely tank too until the next cycle... and that's hard to know (the 'if')and hard to predict (the 'when').
 
By the way, if anyone has XRP (Ripple Labs), you should get the mobile XUMM wallet and transfer the XRP to it. On December 24 they are doing a screenshot and if you hold XRP you will be given free SOLO tokens. This is what is called an 'airdrop'. Often it is like advertising. Part of the philosophy is that if millions of people get free tokens they will likely use them.

You can get the tokens in other ways but would have to set up a 'trustline' with Sologenic to get the tokens and with the XUMM wallet it is the simplest. XUMM is designed by the Ripple Labs people too so that's a plus (for me anyway).
 
I have a bit of ripple, will definitely look into that.

I see PayPal are now dealing in crypto, any thoughts? It sounds fairly restricted in what yo up can hold or do with it but I'm planning on sitting on this shit for 10+ years so ease of transfering or trading isn't a huge concern.
 
I don't have anything constructive to contribute regarding PayPal and crypto.

My only input is biased because PayPal was a way for eBay to 'double dip' and in my opinion they only split it off so that they woukd be able to keep the revenue. Just grease based on greed. They always used their own exchange rates to take extra as well. Greasey.

I would only be assuming that PayPal sees a fee windfall from participating and also as a lifeline of sorts because blockchain /crypto will make PayPal redundant.

That's my honest take but once again, not knowing anything about their process in particular.
 
Also on the 'air drop' front:

I receive free VeThor Token by holding VeChain on Kucoin exchange. I tripped over this one as I had joined Kucoin to acquire VeChain and while checking on my balance one day saw the VeThor Token adding up.

Holders of Cardano's ADA will be able to stake their ADA from Yoroi wallet and get Sundae Swap tokens.

Ada is being delisted from etoro. That sucks. From what I read I either have to sell for a loss or figure out how to transfer them to their digital wallet by the first quarter of 2022.
