Obscured by Clouds came between Meddle and DSOTM, otherwise it could have been a four-album run.

At War With The Mystics is my least favorite Lips album. Yes, I even like it less than Telepathic Surgery.

Lots of good ones already posted. Here's some of my old favs.

ZZTop-1st Album, Rio Grande Mud, Tres Hombres
Yes Album, Close to the Edge, Fragile
Skynard-Pronounced, 2nd Helping, Gimme Back My Bullets
Marshall Tucker Band, A New Life, Searching for a Rainbow
Queen-Sheer Heart Attack, A Day at the Races, A Night at the Opera

Stevie Wonder:

Music of My Mind -> Talking Book -> Innervisions -> Fulfillingness' First Finale -> Songs In The Key of Life

Bob Marley:

Catch a Fire -> Burnin' -> Natty Dread -> Live! -> Rastaman Vibration -> Exodus -> Kaya -> Babylon By Bus

But I think the real winner is this:

Bob Dylan:

Freewheelin' Bob Dylan -> The Times They Are A-Changin' -> Another Side of Bob Dylan -> Bringing It All Back Home -> Highway 61 Revisited -> Blonde On Blonde -> John Wesley Harding -> Nashville Skyline

A more real answer for me would be

Born to Run, > Darkness on the Edge of Town, > The River. Those albums remain my favorite of Springsteen's work, and I do like that work.
the Pink Floyd stuff is good too. This list. Pink Floyd - Dark Side Of The Moon, Wish You Were Here, Animals

Damn it I would have included Bringing -> Highway -> Blonde in my list if I'd remembered (since I am keeping it to three) Good call.

Stevie is hard because there's so many.

The Wailers and BMW are two totally different bands so I left that off. cop0

Edit: I would go with The Best of the Wailers (pre-island studio album)-Catch A Fire-Burnin'

And for my alternative entry, I submit Pearl Jam Ten > Vs. > Vitalogy. Like 'em or not, it was a strong half decade. And I like 'em.

U2 - War, The Unforgettable Fire, The Joshua Tree.
Led Zeppelin - IV, Houses of the Holy, Physical Graffiti. (Could also put Presence at the end of that one.....)
PF - Dark Side of the Moon, Wish You Were Here, Animals, The Wall......incredible Run, right there.
Yes - The Yes Album, Fragile, Close to the Edge
Jimi Hendrix - Are You Experienced?, Axis Bold as Love, Electric Ladyland

Those all come to mind.

Genesis had a cracking one imo. Selling England by the Pound, Lamb Lies Down on Broadway and Trick of the Tail.

And as wok mentioned, Maiden's run was spectacular.
