This is pretty much the right answer to everyone's opinion, even if they don't realize it yet.

That said, I thought he was great in As Good As It Gets. Also, the diner scene in Five Easy Pieces is one of the greatest things ever committed to celluloid...this is fact.

It was arguably his most nuanced performance given the intricacies of the character. Belligerence and OCD is a heady mix.

About damn time someone brought up one of the greatest movies of all time. I was beginning to get worried.

Forgot about Chinatown - actually I never even saw that movie until I got the blu-ray just a little while ago.

Time to watch it again. :cool:
