Words that you absolutely cannot stand to hear

Definitely any sort of corporate speak bullshit made up phrases where you could use normal, existing words. Don't be such a pretentious knob.

Yolo instantly throws me into full rage. Quite sure I'll eventually unleash the fjooking fjury on someone using that one of these days.

And..."We need to talk". :embarrassed:

I really hate the word "Production is running behind, and we have to work a shift this weekend".

I hate that word.

Pro-active

How patronising is 'you need to become more pro-active'

see....that's when ya punch 'em in the mouth, and then you say.....that was me being "pro-active" about your next bad idea.

Here's another little phrase.

When weather-folk say "in the overnight". :epic rage:

What's wrong with just "overnight"?

Reminds me of how you can tell if someone is from LA.

They call freeways "the" 405, "the"101. Just use the numbers, M'kay?.

I can't say that i really have one. However Ive given it some thought and have decided that although I don't have anything against any word in particular I don't like it when someone pronounces something incorrectly.

In fact, the next time someone does it they're going to be eating hospital food.

How many ways are there to pronounce "something?"

Acronyms might actually be worse. I work for a government agency so there's a hell of a lot of those. But these make me want to punch a kitten:

going forward
drill-down
Reach out
leverage
stakeholders
dive deeper
competencies
synergy
bring to the table
think outside the box
positive momentum
touch points
paradigm shift
game-changing
value added

Someone isn't a "team player." cop0
