Wordle Analyzer???

Does anyone here do Wordle regularly and use an online analysis tool? I'm not about to subscribe to NYT and mine is totally full of shit. Look at this for my second guess:

Now I understand that the "average remaining words" is higher, but in the context of Wordle I friggin crushed it. And "very lucky" my ass. An N is much more likely than a G. The only thing AI did was use one more vowel.

Not to mention it says "I got this in 3 guesses) that it says that their third guess was the correct word and the later, in the AI Playthrough section they get it in 4.

Can't stand AI being unwilling to admit when the user did a better job.

Sorry to rant, maybe my wife is right and I am ridiculous, but does anyone know of a better Analyzer?

The official one is full of shit too. Everything I do is 'luck' and everything it does is 'skill'. And if the are 2 or 3 possibilities left it will get the right one every time.

That's what I figured. This one today REALLY pissed me off though. Guess I just stop looking for tips and an ego boost, because it definitely won't give me either.

Screw Wordlebot. It's not the Age of Machines yet.

I play play a random word as an opener, usually something relevant to the day.

8% of the population still open with 'adieu'.

I play it regularly, but I just raw dog it. My standard opener is 'about' or 'audio'.

I was using audio, but now use Soare as the bot does. At least that came off it.

I play it and also quordle. I've been using SOARE for years, then BUILT (in quordle) to get all the vowels (except sometimes Y  ) out of the way. Usually I get it unless I get stuck in the wrong guess for rhyming words

I always pick the same first three words (unless I have a REALLY good reason to make a final guess before that). The three words all contain different letters, so by the end of that I've already used up 15 letters (including all vowels and y) and I have a good chance of guessing the word before my guesses run out. I'm currently sitting at 975 played and 99% success rate. I've never used the hint thing. Dunno, maybe some people think that approach is cheating.

How do you play?

The hard way, using the highlighted letters in all subsequent words, or the easy way, using any letters?

Using the same opening word and working with what's left trying to use the most commonly used letters first.

More fuckery, look at this..... This thing HAS to be lying to me:

I used 'least' for years until it came up a few weeks ago for my second hole in one. Now switched to 'steal' as it's not been used yet. Unless I get a green or at least two yellows I then follow up with 'opium'. Between them it gives good letter coverage.

So I guess I play the easy way. My first three words, btw, are "bored", "paint", and "lucky".

Got it in two today "unbelievably lucky" and their wrong answer gets 100% quality.....

Maybe we should spam this site and make this thread a compilation.

That's nuts, @Knox in Box !

"Bored" and "paint" worked well with that one, btw! Not as good as you, but I was able to get it on the third guess, knowing that I hadn't used "l" or "u" (the only remaining vowel) yet.

I play pretty much daily, and also use Audio as an opener. Adieu is another good one...get those vowels identified ASAP. I don't subscribe to NYT and miss being able to see my stats, but not enough to subscribe. I don't use any other type of analyzer either, just go for it. It is rare not to get it before 6 guesses, but when that happens, I'm glad I don't see my stats.
