Whyte And Mackay Special Blend

Laughing Boy

is without doubt the most boring whisky I have ever imbibed.

Are others less than enthusiastic about Messrs. Whyte and Mackay's entry level scotch?

I have not had the pleasure. I've been working on a bottle of Basil Haydens and some Eagle Rare at my in-laws house.

I dig them both a lot. Basil Haydens is much better...both bourbons (just noticed that I hadn't mentioned that before)

damn.....i thought this thread was gonna be about Verdeen White and Al McKay putting a new band together.

as for bourbon.....i like Buffalo Trace, Eagle Rare and Elijah Craig :thu:

I will take note and stay away....

After P-Stock I am eyeing a bottle of Four Roses Single Barrel. Probably won't be as good as Jaxn's, but if it is even close it will be excellent.

you got to try the stuff they bought direct?

I haven't seen that one, but I'm not big into Scotch blends. On the rare occasion that I'm in the mood for Scotch it's single malt from the Highlands.

I'm in the final negotiations of setting a date to pick out two barrels of WL Weller, a fantastic line of Bourbons made by Buffalo Trace/Sazerac.
