Question: Why do so many people hate blue guitars?

Seeing this thread pop up again makes me want a blue guitar. I can think of several blues that would do. Though blue burst or blue transparent would not be my favorites. Oddly, sparkly blue like the banana seat of an old Schwinn Sting Ray I would like. Along with many others.
