Every time I see a watch display at the store I always look at them and contemplate buying one. At the end of the day, id never wear one though. I never have...

How's this for a minimalist watch?

I like it, but I'd like it more if the hands had a little more contrast. Seems like it'd be hard to read in anything but bright light.

I have a thing for square watches and rose gold. I've been wearing this one for a couple of years now.

3 years later and it's still my favorite. I think it's on its third eelskin band though.

Raymond Weil does a lot of music inspired watches. Herbie Hancock, Frank Sinatra, The Beatles. I'm sure there are others.

I don't see anything on that watch besides the Gibson and Les Paul logos that remind me of a Les Paul.

Well the Sinatra only has the name Sinatra and a Fedora. And you have to flip it over to see that.
The Beatles watch has a lot more fluff.

Brietlings are pretty awesome watches, but there's a lot of gear I'd rather buy with that money. OTOH, if one of my lottery tickets would ever pay off, that'd be e different story.

My 1981 Devil Diver. I got it for my 21st birthday and wore it for a couple of years before I put it away, 35 years ago. It needs a freshening up, and new band. I think I’ll drop it by the jeweler this week.
