The difference with Rick is that it's always been deliberately humorous. Everyone else mentioned here seems wholly unaware, uninterested, or they simply gravitate naturally towards tacky, awful stuff without irony.

Oh God, yeah, he's totally aware. But he does play some fucking ugly guitars. Like they are guitars you would not play.
