Keith did a lot of column A and column B to keep things balanced. He waxes poetic about pharmaceutical grade Merck cocaine several times in his autobiography. He also ate a phenomenal number of pills.

If you’re into altered states, it’s not really necessary to discriminate and choose a team, per se. A lot of the most dedicated drug weirdos I’ve known have been pretty ambidextrous/ecumenical/omnivorous.

That was mostly in the eighties. Rick was so crazy that he kept snorting after everybody else realized it was addictive and went to rehab.
