I have no idea if he is even in a band now, he hardly ever posts on Facebook. Before he moved, he was in my former favorite local band, The Simsons. No P in Simsons like Bart. I saw them for the first time at the battle of the bands. Jazz rock fusion, no lyrics. I couldn't get over how tight they were, their live was better than most in the studio, several takes and still fixing everybody's fuckups. Guitar player invited me to a house party there were playing at. His guitar is plastered with stickers. On break, I ask him about the Sweetwater sticker, I asked him if he has ever gone to Gearfest. It was a great couple of years, couldn't believe I was so lucky to have a band this great in my tiny pool then, Markius moved. They got another sax player but, I guess you would call it Jazz noise. I don't hate it but, I don't love it either. Now my favorite local band is the Katspa Jamas. Another band that the guitar player is in. It's cover band but, at least they improve on the original. Like Sweet Dreams by the Eurythymics but with a guitar solo and predominate guitar through the whole song.
