When your neighbor is digging a large hole in the middle of the night

...it really makes you wonder what's going on & what/who is going to be buried in that hole.


This morning a large empty habitrail on the porch indicates some poor rodent(s) must have shuffled off this mortal coil.

I guess that is one of the least objectionable explanations. But why late at night?

No idea. Maybe it died last night and they just decided to get it over and done with. Mr. Nibbles grave is about 25 feet from my front door so all the digging and commotion was driving my dog crazy last night.

It was the eldest daughter and her boyfriend doing the digging. They're about 16 and the younger daughter is 14 or 15 but that's possible
