It is a very funny movie, especially since I am very familiar with that folk scene they parody. To hear the Kingston Trio-like group complain about how commercial the New Christy Minstrels-type group was had me rolling on the floor in laughter. My wife is all :confused:. I also love when they talked about the low-budget record company that released records without the hole in them; people had to drill their own hole. :grin:

I practically have to get people to watch A Mighty Wind at gunpoint, yet they all love it once they've finished it. :rolleyes:
 
I'm going with "Amadeus" as well. Hulce was hilarious, the way the movie produced the operas was utterly fantastic IMO, I absolutely loved the soundtrack of course, and the atmosphere was just fantastic. Love the movie.
 
I'd definitely have to add Stop Making Sense to my list, thanks Gary.

Also, Scorsese's No Direction Home is superb and his Harrison doc, while not nearly as good, is still excellent.

And yeah; Treme is arguably the best show on television.
