Good game today at Fenway. My Padres pulled off a win. They have somehow continued the incredible streak of not losing when I travel out of town to see them. It's uncanny! We'll see if that streak survives tomorrow in Pittsburgh.
Didn't get much time here in Beantown as I didn't get to the hotel until 2AM this morning after my flight out of SD got FUBAR. I was supposed to be here at 330 yesterday afternoon. Ended up leaving. SD 3 hours late and having to fly to fucking Seattle first. Very long day and I'm apparently still much weaker than I thought I was from all of my health issues. I also have a very screwed up back that is unfortunately going to require surgery (Spondylitis, 2 crushed/slipped disc's, severe arthritis, bone spurs...). It hurts like a motherfucker. I shall beat this too however.
Early AM flight to PIT, hang out for a few hours, maybe grab sandwich at Primanti Bros and then the game at PNC tomorrow night. Fly home early Tuesday morning. Gonna be one sore and tired puppy for sure, but I am so grateful and blessed to have these amazing opportunities. I remind myself every day just how fortunate I am.
