What would you do?

And of course we all knew that, and there was no room whatsoever for misinterpretation.

You're either trying to deflect with humor and failing, or you're backing away from a slam without apologizing. Neither one's a very flattering color.

Well, I was actually trying to make a harmless jab at Howie because I thought we could be cool by now. And yes, I was deflecting the unexpected "Fuck you" with some fact based humor (My brothers name seriously is Howie, and he really does do that shit.) in a failed attempt at not making a bid deal out of nothing. If I was trying to "Slam" the guy, I'd have done it long ago. As usual, some guys can kid around and some guys can't. I can't help the fact that for what ever reason the guy doesn't seem to want to get along, but I'm not going to cry over it either. It's all water under the bridge and I don't feel like making a fight about it. I thought we could be cool. Sorry if my attempt to be jocular had a negative impact on the forum.

So, back to the original topic. It wouldn't be the first time that a significant other imparted enough control over their mate to damage said mates preexisting relationships. For every "controlling bitch" out there, there's an equally controlling douchebag guy who alienates his mate from their connections. No misogyny, no sexism, just a known side effect of being involved with an over-bearing partner. I obviously chose my words poorly in my first reply. I do that a lot. It's called being human.

cop0 Move along, there's nothing to see here. cop0
