What song was playing the last time you were told to "Turn that down!"

Dudeman1967

blah, blah, blah...

A few weeks ago I decided to push the PA to its limits. It was 2pm 'ish on a week day. I had this song playing at 11. I notice someone calling. I couldn't hear it but it lit up. My neighbor asked me to please turn it down. He said they were sick and needed rest. I said I was sorry. Everyone else around me still go to work weekdays. I put on headphones..
What I didn't notice until later that day that my son was painting things in an area where he had the sliding door and windows open. It must have been hellish loud for them.

Nevermore, by Queen. Just yesterday actually, I was happily rummaging around my kitchen whilst Alexa blasted out some Queen. Sadly my daughter came in and immediately started moaning about the volume. The song is only about a minute long too :annoyed:

I honestly have no idea, but seeing the phrase, "turn that down!" instantly makes me think of Joe's Garage.

Don't you boys know any nice songs?

I was in college and had a full horn section come over to record some stuff. two trumpets, two trombones, three sax and a Bari. Drums bass and piano. It was loud as fuck. The neighbors called the cops. I think it was Night in Tunisia when we had to shut it down...

I rarely play actual songs. But my husband has told me to turn it down when I’m running a guitar with fuzz through a cranked amp and letting it feed back.

Given my f'ed up hearing, I don't play music on the stereo very loud anymore. I bet I was last asked to turn something down back in 1998.

A neighbor made a noise complaint to the cops that our party was too loud. (about 9pm on a Friday night for fuck's sake.)

When I answered to door to the cops the song playing - no word of a lie -was LMFAO's 'Sorry For Party Rockin'. It was perfect. The neighbour was standing in the background and I sang out to him "SORRY FOR PARTY ROCKIN'! and then did a couple of shuffle steps.
