I'm all about the no oven since it's summer...stovetop fine but oven is out. I'm digging the "paleo" type granolas for breakfast...all them nuts, seeds in either a fruit smoothie or in kefir or yogurt. Salads with the Braggs cider vinegar Balsamic....those Fieldroast burgers are awesome with sprouts on toast and curry curry curry.....dals and especially Okra curry, I think they call it Bhindi masala is just absolutely mind blowing...

Man that’s a good question. I’m kind of between cravings right now.

I guess what really sounds good lately is fish. A slab of good, fresh fish simply prepared really hits the spot.
 
I minimize even turning on the stove top these-a-days, so lotsa salad type things (cook a batch of some pasta or farro or bulgur or some kinda starchy grainy thing, cool, then use for multiple meals by tossing with various whatever greens, maybe some nuts, maybe some beans, maybe some sharp cheese, maybe some lemon, maybe some onion, maybe some vinegar, good olive oil, yadda yadda yadda.

That and these little meat pie sorta things from a lebanese bakery down the street. And rosé ferchrissakes. The least metal of alcoholic beverages.

I really like to cook along seasonal yields and right now is easily my favorite time of the year, with amazing produce coming from the garden at home and the surrounding farms & orchards. Corn, strawberries, cherries, blueberries, marionberries, tomatoes, greens & kale, etc. So many great flavors. It’s also time for dungeness crabs and seafood straight from the docks right on the coast.. So many incredible fresh summer flavors.
 
I'm smack dab in the middle of a food rut. Every time I get my mouth watering I make the meal and can barely get through it. I have food depression.
 
I'm doing keto right now (three weeks in, down 17lbs and 3 inches), so I'm looking for anything tasty that's low in carbs and high in fat.
 
Rice bowls, with sauteed veggies + protein (chicken or shrimp, usually) and an Asian-style sauce.
