What is your most recent NGD?

[reverend1]

I'm also hoping this will change soon.

Marks is shipping tomorrow (Friday). Chads should be good soon too. Revs gets painted after chads just because of the 2 colors I guess. Things are looking up.

I do have the bass planned out based on the 440 body style.

The Koa stuff and the single cuts are hitting the machine by end of the month.

If ever there was a Swiss Army knife of guitars, this is it.

Can't wait! Hopefully it'll be here in time for a gig I just booked for next Saturday.

How do you like the Korina vs. other woods now that you've built a guitar with it?

[Tweedledee]

My most recent NGD was when I got my Guild Starfire around the beginning of the year. If I can ever find some time to paint my Jaguar project, that will be my next NGD.

It was an impulse buy - Squier Tele. I asked myself for about a week, "why the hell did I buy that?" but it's been growing on me since.

It machines nice. No fuzzy section where you aren't cutting exactly with the grain. Easy to sand. Light as hell. <----that's my favorite part. Get ready to grab it when you open the case or it might float away.

How about sonically?

I dig it. It rocks. It cleans up nice. But I dig most guitars. I'm more anxious to hear how you think it sounds.

It's been a while, so I'm not exactly sure. But I think it was my second one of these:

[IamSeaDevil]

The McFeely 426

[Tralfaz]

My last NGD was that Luna Safari I won here.

Prior to that, probably the Martin D-28 I bought back in 2004 or so. I'm pretty well fixed for guitars.

[Gary Blanchard]

This is my latest; I think it was toward the end of 2013.

Oh yeah, Gary just reminded me that I screwed up. My most recent acquisition is the Guild acoustamaphonic sensation.
