no way that knob is an accident.

One my bro in law painted.
Not sure if this counts, not painted, it's fabric that I decopauged.
I often wonder where all the 80's shredder guitars went to! Not just the ones with prints on them, but all of them. I mean the odd time I will see one pop out for sale somewhere, but not that often for how many of them have got out be out there somewhere. Maybe i should of stock piled them when everyone and everywhere was blowing them out for nothing when they were no longer the thing! I have got to think that alot of them have got to be laying in closets or under beds somewhere collecting dust? Maybe some people that bought them for to much at the time do not want to let them go for the little amount some of them would get on the used market? I would not be shocked if at some point some of these guitars will increase in value and demand.
the 80s and 90s super-strats are all over eBay, and prices are pretty high given where they seemed to have been even a year or two ago. i very rarely see one with the graphics though. i'm sure they are bait for certain collectors.
I guess I never look on ebay for guitars, but that would make sense! I only look for parts on there for builds. Once in a while I will see bodies or necks for the older shredders there though, but not alot of the graphic ones.
they're actually coming back in fashion for hipsters, like the ones in Brooklyn. part of the whole ironic chic thing.
really? brooklyn hipsters are playing 80s and 90s graphic super-strats?
here's a shot of uber-hipster band Sleigh Bells
