He will always be Mark Wayne to me.

That would eliminate his unfortunate nickname, cause no one would say wayner. ;D

I would say weiner is the a fortunate nickname when compared with it's synonyms

SO how about these guys? Right next to my office, as a matter of fact. I have no idea what to call him, so I just call him Ray (Ray is the son, he runs it now). Its a lose lose no matter how you pronounce this one.

People ask my wife when we got married why she didn't hyphenate her name.

Her families last name is Vasilj, which is Yugoslavian. Pronounced "Vassil"

My last name is Wein, which is pronounced "Ween"

Vasilj-Wein

Say it out loud a couple of times ;D
;D That would be awesome!

Especially if you had a speech impediment ;D

Or you were asian

(Well technically slightly more German ish like “bahy-muhn”… but the above works for most Murricans. )

I guess "Spleen"...I get corrected all the time that its supposed to be pronounced "whine" but its my name.

They can kiss my ass ;D
Actually, they're correcting you wrong as well. As a German word, it actually rhymes with "Vine".

But yeah, it's your name and it's America damn it! Fuck them.
