I've actually been on a Pat Metheny binge since I started working out of his etudes book this week. Mostly live videos on Youtube though.

Tonight's rotation at work...

King Crimson - Red
Steven Wilson - Insurgentes
Elvis Costello - The Return of the Spectacular Spinning Songbook
Stan Ridgway - Mr. Trouble
Jimmy Page & The Black Crowes - Live At The Greek
Blitzen Trapper - Furr

I can't imagine working without music anymore.

My class running the guitar parts to this since the rhythm section didn't show up tonight:

Right now im listening to "Dirty Jobs"

But musically there is a station here in Vegas that is sorta alternative, i usually listen to that to stay on top of new stuff.

The new Muse song that is the Olympic thing kinda sucks in my opinion. :embarrassed:

Now I'm listening to Prages play with DenverDaves band while I close up the shop.

I was listening to that too. And then I listened to a couple other videos from the same show. I sucked that night and my tone through the Blues driver is soooo bland. I have got either dump it or dial it in better. It sounds good on chords and double stop lead stuff but when I go to single strings it looses all balls and sounds like wet ass. Ugly wet ass at that...

I'm not a blues driver fan, and I've had 2-3 of them over the years from stock to Keeley modded.

At the moment I'm getting a ton of milage from the Barber LTD SR, but they stopped making them.

The Barber LTD is what I am after. If I sell the Blues Driver for about $40.00 it sound put it within easy spending reach.

I had an LTD silver that I sold a few years ago and when I got the Suhr amp I tried El Borrachitos and realized that I should have kept it. They only had the LTD SR new. The difference between the silver and the SR versions is that the SIlver has a little more midrange. I'd rather have one of those two versions than the stock one I think. Just a smidge better.

I see the silver version pop up on eBay every so often. I will watch for one....

I actually like the one a little more than the SR but I don't feel like flipping anything anymore. It all works fine. The extra midrange works with the Badger 30 a little better though.

I was just listening to the "Sound of Perseverance" album by Death..their final one I think...absolutely killer technical death metal if you like that sort of thing. Which I do. :embarrassed:
