The Beau Brummels! I was totally obsessed with this band for awhile. They were pretty much at the vanguard of the evolution of folk rock to country rock, but never really had the support of their record companies. Then the whole country rock movement went off in another direction and left them behind.

Ha! If I'd had to guess 'which MWGLer was big fan of The Beau Brummels?' you'd be the first one I'd have picked. :thu:

They've got some great material. Definitely a band that are worth digging into.

I first became aware of that song when I saw “Over The Edge” when I was a kid. I’ll always be partial to the Valerie Carter interpretation because of that, but both obviously great.
