The little three note motif, it's the fifth of the scale to the maj sixth, then to the major third? Yeah, the 'In Bloom' thing sounds very similar, although it's hardly really enough to even be a melody, it' s more a little interval thing. But I bet it did inspire 'In Bloom'.
