I don't know how I've overlooked this album till now, really digging it. I think in part because for so many years I overlooked the whole 77 to mid eighties music that wasn't say indie/alternative/punk. So for 'regular" music or groups/artists that originated in the 60's I just didn't bother, figured it was their twilight years and how wrong I was. Many bands even bands that formed in the early 70's I have found some of their stuff from this era as my favorites of their work.Lou, the OG troll.
There’s honestly not much Lou I could ever dislike, even if he’s just merely making a fuck you statement (Metal Machine etc.). I enjoy The Bells and the snide disco trolling (only thing maybe better is Zappa’s riotous Disco Boy), the title track is particularly superb. Incidentally Bowie was a big Billy Squier fan.I don't know how I've overlooked this album till now, really digging it. Now overall in general i think the era from about 77 to 84 is one of my favorites...I even love the production on a lot of this stuff and things like Billy Squire even I am digging.

Also, happy 55 to me today!
