When I worked with the complex classes they'd do a morning routine to help them settle. One part of this was song of the day to get the chair bound kids up and moving if they could.
You'd be stuck with these songs for months and it was bloody hard to find one that the kids liked but wouldn't turn into torture for the staff. One of my supports at the time is a total muso and suggested this.
Thursdays, term 3 2018-19, easilly the best song of the day I ever had and the kids loved it too. For a tiny population, Scotland really punched in the 80s for its music.
