I didn't know the Saints would be too well known in the States. They were a great band back in the day. Check out some of the guitarists Ed Kueppers solo stuff or The Laughing Clowns. He was doing some good stuff with his new band The Aints before the plague.

I forgot where I heard about them It might have been some Jeff Ament (Pearl Jam bass player) interview I read. That's a great play on the name "the Aints".
