Now that you mention it, the name 'White Spirit' does sound wrong. Maybe they named it after turpentine? My buddies had a garage metal/rock band in high school called White Noize. Then they got a singer who was not a white dude. Craigger/White was born. They had a few really good songs.That is a heck of a band name.
I believe this is them today. 'Believe And Succeed' was their kick ass tune back in the day. I will have to hunt it down.

Janick Gers of White Spirit has been in Iron Maiden for over twenty years.
The last time I saw Craiger White was at a high school party. It was a great show.
