Yeah Bukka is great. I think I'd have to go with Mississippi john Hurt if I could only choose one but either would be great. To me there is Blues and there is Blooze...the later can fguck itself in the face but the former is like food for the soul.

BTW I blame Gary Blanchard for my two BW posts. I haven't listened to any Blues in years but gary's folk roots of jerry garcia made me redownload some MJH and BW :)

Yeah, the blooze can suck hairy donkey balls., but the blues like Bukka White, Son House, Mississippi John Hurt, Skip James, Furry Lewis, Blind Willie Johnson, Missisissppi Fred McDowell, that's great stuff.
