I agree with Dave, I thought that was going to be a train wreck.

Most chicks trying to cover Barracuda can't pull it off. That chick did a good job. Surprisingly, the best cover I ever heard (vocally) was by Gretchen Wilson.

Agreed...there are some covers that make me cringe just thinking about someone else doing them...Heart songs generally fall into this category, and so do Queen songs.

Yep, but i think it fizzled partway through when most realized they didnt know ALL the words/music. :biggrin:

It may have fizzled, but the more I think about it, we did make it through to the end. I think it was during the acoustic jam though. I distictly remember screaming "Get on your bike and ride!!!" at some point, and that's the last line of the song before the end jam with the 'Fat Bottomed Girls!" repeats.


That's not to say we shouldn't have ended it sometime soon after "I was just a skinny lad" though.

I've had a bit of a crush on the guitar player for a long time. It's Allison Robertson from the Donnas. She pretty damn good too. Does alot of ACDC, Guns and Roses, and Judas Priest type of stuff and pulls it off pretty well.

Yeah I've never heard a Queen cover that I liked. But I also think Freddie Mercury was the best rock frontman ever.
