Food Jam: Wendy's coffee tastes like yak piss but the honey butter chicken biscuit is mmm pretty good actually

I work hard and I play hard. When it's time for a breakfast built to satisfy a real man, I always choose Wendy's, or at least I sometimes do. Today was one of those days, and I ordered a honey butter chicken biscuit combo which came with some seasoned potatoes and Wendy's coffee. The biscuit was good. The coffee is very bad. The seasoned potatoes were just okay. I hope someone breaks into my apartment and murders me with an axe. Maybe next week I'll try the Frosty-ccino version of their coffee, maybe that will be better. What is your favorite fast food breakfast and specifically who makes the best coffee? I really like McDonald's coffee. Chick-fil-A coffee is very bad.

Of all the fast food restaurants, I've found that McDonalds has excellent coffee. The rest are generally terrible.

Convenience stores / gas stations are generally pretty bad with the exception of Pilot which has started using the machines that grind and brew on demand. A medium roasted Columbian coffee from these is pretty darned good.

Whenever I get near a Wendy's I have to stop for Frosty-chino. Chocolate. Love the breakfast Baconator but I almost never get near Wendy's at breakfast.

When I was in Caracas, there was a Wendy's a short walk from the office. Me and assorted other expat gringos ate lunch there at least twice a week. I haven't eaten at a Wendy's since.

Whenever I get fast food, I am soon reminded of why I eat there so rarely. There are a few exceptions, but if I am getting coffee out, which is rather rare, I try to go to local shops.

I had to give up coffee because it makes me hypomanic and gives me explosive diarrhea. Sad how my best friend became my worst enemy. Ten years ago I was drinking from the time I awoke until right before bed. I once counted and I was drinking sixteen cups a day. And now…all I can do it walk down the coffee aisle and remember those good times.

As for Wendy’s, I love that spicy chicken sandwich. But I stopped eating the chicken.

I think I've had a fast food breakfast twice in around 15 years, both were McDonald's, both were terrible, the coffee included.

I drink coffee when I wake up then, I'm done for the day. Wendy's seasoned potatoes may be just OK but, they are a hundred times better than their fries. If they made a better burger and served the seasoned potatoes all day, I'd eat there more often.
