Strange one. Didn't do too much but it still seemed like a full weekend...

Friday - stayed home instead of our usual family dinner

Saturday - worked and then took the family to walk around the Irvine Spectrum just to get out of the house. Went to the Apple store, tried an iPad and decided I really need a new laptop.

Sunday - went to the Orange classic car show (I'll post pictures tomorrow or later tonight). Came home and did yardwork and watched the HC2.0 follies. Now I'm llistening to the white trash brothers across the street have a drunken argument while Mrs W and my son watch "Life" on the Tivo.
 
Didn't do much. Was expecting a visit from my weekend lady friend but I didn't hear back from her until she was too busy. She said she was going to email me Friday night but didn't want to seem too forward. Too forward? We only see each other for 1 reason! There is no too forward with our relationship. I can picture how that email conversation would have went.

Her: I'd like to come by and jump your bones for a while. Hope I'm not being too forward.
Me: Oh, I don't think we're ready to take things to that level yet. I mean, we hardly know each other.

Are you crazy!? I'm a man, man. I'm always ready. Too forward indeed...She better let me SIIHP for this.
 
Life is amazing! I watched it with my wifey tonight. I loved the part about the huge BROWN Costal bears. Largest grizzlies. That thing said they stand 5ft tall at the shoulder when walking on all fours.
What a predator!
 
Saw Kick Ass friday night
Saturday realized im miserable in the relationship im in and will cut the strings as soon as theres something decent to go to
Last night at the bar as im walking out a cute petite nerdy girl with a southern accent asked me for my #.

Today; laid low we talked for a half hour. Friday night Im supposed to show southern girl around the city as shes only been here for 2 weeks
 
miserable weekend.

friday: landlord is getting ripped off by the exterminator and doesn't seem to care that the job is being done incorrectly. he got a good price. :mad:

saturday: lessons. spent saturday night cleaning and arguing.

sunday: my sister called to tell me that my cousin's gravestone unveiling was in 90 minutes. she had just found out and was extremely pissed off. i couldn't make it out there, but she went. of the 100 or so people there, she was the only family. sister and cousin were very close and she took it as an insult. i agree, and this is going to cause huge problems as no family was told. later in the day, my wife found out that a friend committed suicide. she took the news badly. her sister took it even worse. the guy had hung himself and was found by members of his AA group. apparently he'd missed two meetings and they went to his place to see what was up.

this week is going to be rough.
 
Friday: Watched a movie and went to bed fairly early.

Saturday: Ran 1/2 marathon, then finished up my fuzz pedal build. Stayed up late talking on the Weinerboard.

Sunday: Went to breakfast, the a friends 17 year old son brought his band over to record. Spent most of the day doing that.

Both Mrs. P and I were exhaused, so we ended up going to bed around 7 pm. Didn't get up until 5 this morning. :embarrassed:
 
Spent the majority of the weekend in Miami at a soccer tournament. I absolutely poured all weekend which made it pretty miserable. The girls won though which made it better. The final game was decided by pk's and my baby girl (13) scored the game winner. chewie0
 
Weekend was pretty hectic… we’re getting ready for the move…

Friday – went to the new house to clean up… painters just got done, but left a huge mess. The fiancée and I watched “Law Abiding Citizen” and passed out
Saturday – got up at 6am and went to Lowes, went to the new house and did some yard work. Got freshened up and went to NYC to go to a bachelor party for my cousin. I went to dinner at a great Peruvian place.
Sunday – got up and cleared out our storage area, packed up half the condo and brought the stuff to the new house. Then we spent the next few hours cleaning and recleaning the hardwood floors. Made a quick trip to Lowes and scrubbed the bathrooms.

Crazy weekend… I need a weekend from my weekend!!!

Friday - Dinner and Drinks with my wife and friends... .then we all went and Saw Kick Ass.

Saturday - Home and Grocery Shopping then a DJ gig. Hung out with friends later.

Sunday - Hung shutters, did mulching in the flowergarden and tree areas around house. Met up with my youngest daughter for dinner and bought her a bunch of groceries.


Also... Sunday morning I was watching a concert on Paladia... and I have to say, HD television combined with a DVR is a great thing. I grabbed my guitar off the wall, backed up a concert and realized the fingering I was doing for a particular chord was wrong. (Jason Mraz concert... that suspended chord that he lets ring out after the "scat singing" part in the middle of "I'm Yours".)

I'm feeling pretty burnt out, so I just took the weekend to stay at home and regroup a little. Cooked, played with my kids, played guitar and XBox 360 with my brother-in-law, curled up with books and blankets, took long baths, slept, hung out with my wife, etc., and nothing else. Still pretty crazy, with the kids, but a lot better than what I've been doing to myself recently.

New puppy this week, so I'm pretty excited about that.

Thats pretty much it. It's sad that Funerals (and unveilings in this case) can be the place for such petty behavior by families. I've experienced it too and it's really not the place at all.
 
Friday: left work a bit early. Went to the store who didnt have power, so all the cold food sections were closed off. Threy had generators for the registers and had some lights on but not enough power for everything. Went home, sat in the dark. Listened to the hockey game on the radio. Goofed off with the kids.

Saturday: I played a lot of supreme commander and played a lot of guitar. Watched a lot of "Lockup". (A documentary series on MSNBC about prisons. Very interesting show.). Hung out with the wife when she got home, we were up really late and it was cool, havent hung out with just her very much at all lately.

Sunday: slept in, worked from home a little bit, read some, then made dinner and watched the hockey game. Very chill day, quite enjoyable.

What kind of puppy are you getting?

My weekend was crazy busy.

Friday left work early to attend an awkward wedding for a friend of a friend. Sat at a table full of strangers, couldn't drink that much since I was the DD, watched my one hippie friend make a complete drunken ass of himself and went home.

Saturday was my buddy's bachelor party, it was a good time but for reasons I can't explain it could have been a lot better. :embarrassed:

Sunday I moved some stuff to the new place and started getting shit organized for the big move this coming weekend.
 
Friday night - gigged

Saturday - 3 Lacrosse games - gigged at night

Sunday - Soccer game/ Flag football - then played a pick up lacrosse game in the evening.
