I'm in whiskey hell with terrible bottles of The Irishman and Gentleman Jack. Looks like the green tea hot toddy will rule for the foreseeable future.
Perfect to mix with Diet Red Bull, or maybe Big Red.
I've seen it but haven't tried it. Woodford Reserve has a rye out, too, now. I've heard mixed reviews. Michter's is really special. It's been demanding some increasing prices around here, though.I'm still on rye--haven't had any bourbon in quite some time.
My most recent purchase was a bottle of George Dickel (didn't know they made a rye). It's decent--drinkable. It's certainly better than the Knob Creek, but it ain't no Michter's or Templeton.
No, I hadn't seen that. Brilliant choice IMO. They shook up the market the past few years more than anyone else. That's for sure.Anyone catch Whisky Advocates's 2015 distiller of the year?

I think I saw that around the midwest while I was traveling through. It's got a great color.I just picked up a bottle of this:

I have about two glasses left of that Four Roses I got from you. That's probably my favourite one I've had yet.

And is delicious.I love their beer, so I have high hopes for it. They do a great milk stout that's bourbon barrel aged and packs a whopping 12%.
