First album (cassette tape actually) I bought was Sabbath Bloody Sabbath and I rode my bike to mthe record store which was like 5 miles away with my friend. This was proably 1982 and maybe a couple years before the great satanic panic. My mom was never a panicker but she grew up midwestern Lutheran so we went to Church every Sunday till i was about 14. Anyway she never explicitly said not to buy or listen to anything like that but growing up my folks never were 'music collectors" it was country radio or one of the mexican radio stations, maybe rarely on vacation an AOR type one. So I didn't want to freak out my folks with the Cover or the name or the song titles lest they think I was on drugs and worshipping the devil (both folks were school teachers of H.S and middle school)...so i snuck it into the house and I kept it hidden in my room and i would play it on my Toshiba walkman :embarrassed:

Absolute banger. The Robert Hazard version is my go-to to play at parties when the host asks 'any requests'? Most people have no idea it exists, and it's always got a great response.
 
This is a great song for watching people in the pit knock each other’s teeth out.
