Tone Zone

I was going to go for that one until I saw the Bluesbucker. Looking at their 'tone guide' it was the closest to the Area T, which has become my favorite pickup.

My SZ520 with the Air Zone bridge has a Bluesbucker in the neck. It's a great combination: the Air Zone splits well and blends with the P90-type neck quite nicely. It's hot enough for metal but has nice cleans.

Since I am waiting for my new pickup from DiMarzio to arrive, I decided to throw the loaded pickguard from my other strat on this one so I can still play it. I think the DiMarzio, may end up in my black strat because this one sounds so good, I may just leave this one as is. I think the Railhammer actually sounds better in this guitar.
