So I have a Love.... not going to say hate because I love it more.... Love / IRK relationship with my Kemper......

.... what Irks me is I get excited about a new pedal.... and after tweaking the knobs and understanding what the different parameters do....

.... I was able to find a Touch Filter and assign that effect to one of my Matchless amp profiles on the Kemper and replicate this new pedal, not perfectly, but close enough for rock and roll. :embarrassed:

{ haha.... looking at the current rig I run for the Grooveheads... the first three Profiles are different Matchless... then the last two are both Marshalls. :grin: }

On the bright side, I also added a cool Leslie effect to the same profile.... both the Leslie and the Touch Wah Filter are switched off by default, but when I load up the profile using the bottom row of footswitches, I can see the associated colors next to the Effects switches in the middle row, and I can tell by the colors of the chain in the Upper left where the effects are before the amp and after the amp. So now the Rubber Chicken pedal is going to join my EVH Chorus over on my Analogue board that I use for live looping. That board has an acoustic path that goes through a Tech21 NYC Acoustic flyrig and then the magnetic pickup for my electric sound goes through Tech21's California Fly Rig for my electric sound. Each goes into the R/L of a Looper pedal. :helper:

One of the few effects I get excited about is a good envelope filter. Not surprising I suppose since I am a faithful follower of St. Garcia. :grin:

That rubber chicken sounds like it goes beyond envelope filters into talkbox territory. I'm tempted...

That's what intrigued me about it... it definitely does "vowel sounds" and is the main reason it caught my attention. It's difficult to sing and do a talk box at the same time. In my head, I'd like to do a "George Benson meets Frampton" scat sing over talk box guitar.

Let me know if you do want one, because one of my buddies told me (after I ordered mine) that he has TWO of them and would have sold me one... I can get you in touch with him. :baimun:

Just realized that my friend Paul was using the Rubber Chicken pedal on this particular video I recorded the week that the US shut down. (we ended up raising about 4 Grand that month and shared that money with full time musicians, servers, and bartenders who were suddenly without tips. The following month, they changed the rules and allowed "gig" and "tip" workers to file for unemployment, but I had several servers (and even a couple bar owners) thank me for helping buy them and their families some meals during those stressful few weeks.

That's a cool pedal. Apart from the funk and Garcia shenanigans, it would also be good for seventies truck-driving country.
