So, if you haven't seen it, wales started in the ocean, evolved to be on land, decided fuck this, I'm going back to the ocean and evolved again. It really made me think.
I thought what if? What if humans evolved to go back in the ocean? What would that be like? Unless I'm running late, I do exercises for my back. tighten the abdominals and the back muscles are thin to begin with. Develop your core and it holds the discs in your spine in place. So, I'm doing my exercises, most of them I do laying on my back, one of them, you raise your hand like you are asking a question, tighten your arm muscles and bring your arm down back to your side. I do that 15 times for each arm. To save time, as one arm is going down, I'm raising the other arm to be ready to go down. Wife walks in and says it looks like I'm swimming. I'm so not a swimmer. I don't float, I sink. Ever since then, I keep thinking what if I evolved to go back in the ocean.
I'm swimming effortlessly. I say hi to Buddy the elf. I don't have flippers, the only two evolutions are, 1) My neck is a little longer and my head is oriented to my body like a dog or cat so, as i swim, my face is facing forward, not down. 2) There is a shaft, looks like a broomstick coming out of my rear end, at the top of it is a fan blade. Looks like one from an old timey desk fan, the ones with the thick wire cages you could stick your hand in. It's rotating very slowly and couldn't possibly be creating lift like a helicopter but, somehow it's working and I'm not sinking.
