Thor: Ragnarok

All fake news ogg...

I didn't capitalize your moniker on purpose...

You'll figure it out!!

I'm more excited about Thor: Ragnarok than I am Spiderman: Homecoming, Wonder Woman, or Justice League. :baimun:

I don't know. Even if the Wonder Woman movie is totally garbage, I will be more "excited" by that one than any of the others

I dunno - I get pretty excited by Wonder Woman

She needs to eat a sandwich. She was the best part of BvS but I don't care for the actress. I know she served in the IDF, but every Israeli citizen does. She's a fine actress just not physically imposing enough imo.

So  means you think she looks like someone who could actually do any of the things she supposed to do? Because she doesn't.

So there are some women who actually do what she is supposed to do in the movies, and here is you amazonian warrior princess.

I suspect that the movie is going to be a disaster anyway, because all 3 movies so far have been total shit.

It's the 'needs a sammich' that really got me.

But movie magic. You always hire the actor who doesn't look the part over the person who looks the part but who can't act. 30 years ago, people were losing their shit because they were hiring Michael Keaton to play Batman. Filmmakers know how to make someone look imposing. It's not a new science. Posting a paparazzi shit couldn't be less relevant.

Realism in comic books/movies is super important.

I know what you're saying, it just bothers me. Especially since they had Brooke Ence and a bunch of other athletes play the other Amazonian's. Why is the best of them a waify little thing?

You notice none of the men are stick figures.

The 1986 animated Transformers: The Movie was Welles's last film; he died suddenly during the production, the previous October.

There's only one OW, but Goldblum is one of those guys who's always fun and interesting to watch; I'm almost always happy to see him on-screen. He's probably underused.
I was completely unaware of Welles' work on the 1986 Transformers, I thought we were talking Michael Bay era, so I'll concede.

As for Goldblum, I used to really enjoy him a lot. His earlier roles and performances were typically great and memorable, up to and including ID4. He just seems to have become a parody of himself in recent years. The dynamics are always the same. The deadpan, stuttering delivery of lines seems forced and disingenuous as if he's being cast as himself more so than the character. It has become strenuous to endure. He's like Paulie Shore with a Juliard resumé. He does a brilliant job of playing the exact same guy in every film.
